Library Booth at the Thousand Oaks Arts Festival

Saturday and Sunday, September 11 & 12, 10 am- 5 pm - Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza
Children can help make quilt-themed murals that will hang in both libraries as part of the
One City One Book project.  Adults can learn about the book, "Sweeping Up Glass"  and 
the programs planned for October and November at the library.

Hannah Dennison, author of the Vicky Hill mysteries, will present a writer's workshop

My Suicide

Sunday, September 26 - 2 p.m. - Grant R. Brimhall Library
Thousand Oaks Library and Regenerate present a screening of the award-winning film
My Suicide (A David Lee Miller Film), a self-inflicted comedy, followed by an expert panel
discussion and Q & A. Film stars Gabriel Sunday, Mariel Hemmingway, and David Carradine.
Parental Warning: this film has not been rated but contains violence, brief nudity and
