The project, spearheaded by visionary philanthropists and community leaders Annette and Ron Plotkin, transformed the room into an inviting, contemporary space which the entire community can enjoy. Additional funding was provided by Verizon and the City, with architectural and remodeling concepts developed and supervised by Francisco Behr of Westlake Village’s Behr Browers Architects.

The newly renovated Founders Room is yet another example of the public/private partnership between the City of Thousand Oaks and the Alliance.

It was a spectacular event for all! AND… just as the evening was drawing to a close, multi-Grammy Award winner Neil Sedaka surprised guests with an unexpected, impromptu WOW! performance, thanks to the efforts of Cabrillo Music Theatre, the Resident Musical Production Company at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
